Lol I’ll be the first to admit I’m FAR from knowing the best builds or weapons in GD, I just know that I liked Storm Tap from a play perspective, and in my build at the time it was my strongest skill. New Mythic Stormreaver isn’t BAD by any stretch of the imagination, I know it gave me a HUGE DPS increase and I believe you when you say its one of the best items in the game at the moment.

I think I remember Ultos having it’s 15 mins of fame some time ago, but I’m surprised to hear that lightning is coming out on top in AoM. I thought for sure it would be some pierce Blademaster build or something, but that’s probably my fundamental lack of game/meta knowledge showing again ;D
Storm Tap is a great ability, no doubt. But Storm Totem with 2 sec CD more than make up for it. It’s actually even better, you place totem and it spams “storm tap” multiple times.
And why do you wonder that lightning comes on top in AoM? Shaman class received INSANE buffs (-35% ele resist, extra damage on brute force and storm touched, stronger FH), Mythical stormreaver has very strong DoT DPS, and perfectly empowers savagery and storm totem…
