Need a solid gun build for an hc beginner

so I basicly finished everything in sc aside from crucible and sr (just can’t handle those^^) and I am now looking for a good class combo (build) to start fresh in hc. my biggest requirement is for the build to use a gun/2 hand rifle or crossbow and be able to clear everything on hardcore ultimate, no need for crucible or sr viability.

I only had oppressor and warlord on sc and hc gun builds for hc beginners seem to be scarce even on the forums?

anyway would appreciate a solid recommendation, thanks in advance! :slight_smile:

edit: I should probably mention that I don’t want to farm gear much, I would like to go through it all as a ranger in pretty much one swoop rather than having to farm gear for ages, maybe lvl if rly necessary as melee or caster in the beginning but change to guns rather early.

You can clear main game on HC with anything as long as you know what you’re doing (meaning get resistances up ASAP).

Best ranged builds are purifiers. But you could squeeze a bit more health and general survivability from a paladin. In any case, inquisitor is a first choice for ranged.
