I just theorycrafted these two builds. My gut tells me the warlock is better but I’m not sure. Since I started playing HC I really value stun res on the Sentinel but I dunno if that and the higher OA is worth losing Maiven’s.
Also any suggestions on squeezing out more Energy/Regen? I haven’t played spammable DEE in years but I remember it being pretty expensive to cast.

Imho transmuted DEE is superior due to item support (Wretched Tome) and transmuter boosts, not to mention the large amount of DoT in DEE.
But if I had to build a HC Spam DEE Sentinel, I’d probably build it like this with a few layers of leech to allow for repositioning and a little more armor: HC Acid Spam DEE
Resists could be better, depending on what prefix you find for the offhand MI (celerity suffix is most desired). Eldritch pact has elemental resist, which is attractive if you can’t find this elsewhere. You could use the Serenity relic for more defense at the cost of some offence, if resists can be juggled.
SoC is not really critical, but I like it for some flexibility.
And if Sentinel you definitely want the RR from the Guardians.
Rebuke has resistance to life reduction, which can be useful vs some enemies. 1 or 2+1 is not a bad investment…but it is not make or break… if your leech is adequate.
DEE build can’t cut cookies, not sharp enough.
But for spamming I will go Witch Hunter. Transmute maybe Sentinel, cause Path of three have nice CDR.
