Need help clarifying some stuff regarding cooldowns on item/equipment procs

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/62ay5mE2

In the above GT, are 3 things I’m using as an example…:

  1. Prismatic diamond
  2. Fateweaver shoulder’s fade from reality
  3. Grey magi’s survival instinct

The have the following type of proc respectively…

  1. Activates when HP drops below X%
  2. Activates when HP drops below X%
  3. Y% Chance of activating when hit

After some testing, I’m fairly certain that the CDR of a Y% chance of activating when hit proc begins the moment the proc is active. In other words, while the listed value CD of survival instinct is 8s, it actually only has a 4s downtime, making it an amazing pair of boots. That being said, I’m also fairly confident that it is not affected by %CDR.

As for the first 2…does anyone know how they actually work?

Use prismatic rage as an example - 25s CD + 8s duration

Does the 25s begin during the 8s uptime? Or after?

Same question for fateweaver shoulders. (I put the 2 here because I’m not sure if component based procs function differently from item based ones).

Thanks in advance!

As far as i know, all item procs are absolutely unaffected by CDR. Components, etc. included. Furthermore, skills, that start their cooldown AFTER their buff expires, leave a buff icon during CD (Deadly Aim, etc).

That’s interesting. Does prismatic rage do this? Sorry, I don’t know what the icon for it looks like. :stuck_out_tongue:
Ty for the info btw.

Prismatic rage have icon. It’s similar to Serenity relic proc, human in blue circle
