Need help with a new build - Noctrin based

i noticed that theres new interesting sword ingame and i want to do a build with him.
i made some “frame”, but i would need some advices because im not sure that i picked best equipment.
sword is noctrin, and placeholder build is here

You defenitely want Word of renewal death sentance for RR and Lethal Assault for flat damage that you convert to pierce. Also you need assassins blade for RR and perhaps also blades of nadaan for more armor piercing.

elemental storm is useless here

Morgoneth ring converts pierce to vitality, not a good idea

okay. for the 2nd ring, should i use another ring of orissia or ring of anubar/belgothian sigil?
or ditch both of them and get both alkamos set rings, they look kinda better in this setup on paper.

managed to make this.
with alkamos rings

after finishing build, i saw few things that could be changed; amulet, since theres no need for 4 part set since i wont use horn.
maybe swap it for runebinder gem, also runebinder set looks maybe better than rimetongue?

Why the use of Nidalla relic? You should use Belgothian Carnage, in sync with Blade Braker belt. Also mind that % cold damage from boots is not converted to pierce, only flat and you can’t build hybrid cold/pierce because of swords conversion. Frostburn is nice DoT damage but is better to focus fully on pierce devotions/gear.

why alkamos rings? What damage do you wanna deal? pierce or cold? :stuck_out_tongue:

The same problem as before, double conversion from gloves is bad as well. Also 107 in physique for pierce build is pretty bad. Cunning…

Rimetongue hybrid sounds so so cool, I want to try it :stuck_out_tongue: But with Blade Trap of course.

You have no vision for the build, you wanna use Noctrin? Then focus on Pierce

yep, exactly that. i dont know what build to use with it, but i know that i want dw noctrines…dont even know if inquisitor is best combo for that

i was playing with items and made this. focus is on pierce damage, but i think that theres a lot place for improvements
