This is my first character. I’m running an Occultist that throw poison around. I’m at level 66 in Elite basicly at the Riftgate near Mogdrogen Shrine and honestly everything die stupidly fast. Trash die on hit from DEE (with CD) or the Dreeg’s Infinite Gaze from the component. Most bosses (unless they have really high poison damage and even then with Curse) die from 1 or at worst 2 cast of DEE.
My resistance ain’t horrible for Elite but the extra hit when I get to ultimate will be harsh! So I guess it is FINALLY the time (now that I’m equipping some Legendary item) so think about those Component / Augment. Is it all about Resistance or should I mix with something else in preparation for Ultimate? Also I stil lhave an open slot in my inventory (I guess for Relic) but nothing I can make look interesting what should I look toward since I’m getting near level 70 and it’s kinda stupid to lose on a complete set of stat from an item slot.
In Ultimate you will need good resistances but also decent DA/OA/Hp in order to survive
Concerning the relic, you should target the Dreeg’s Affliction mythical relic, it’s level 70 and very good for any poison build (Blight is also good to level with)
Dreeg relic is the best imo for poison caster, failing that (not having recipe) I guess malediction is good with~ 250% poison damage on it and other poison stuff on it if you include the aura (lvl 60 relic), and lastly, blight.
Never forget to check the merchants in the last level of all 3 rogue dungeons for recipes, they always have 1 recipe each time.
This is my first char and on him I got twice the same blueprint. UNLESS the first one came from a quest (or from a merchent) and the 2nd from a drop (I’m 100% sure the 2nd one is a drop). They probly have lower chance to drop so I’m buying every recipe I get my hand on
At 85 I like to have these, in order of importance to me: get max resists, get 2200 oa, get 2000 da, get as much hp as feasible. The last 2 there are very character specific, as a build that can debuff the heck out of everything doesn’t need as much hp or da.
YMMV of course, some of the folks here who do a lot of builds don’t seem to settle for less than 2600 to 2900 oa for example, but the numbers I gave are a good happy minimum for myself that I use in figuring out when I need to tweak a build or look at different gear.
you can take a look at this build for the ideal stats required to melt everything in Ultimate
As said Grim Pawn, 2200-2500 OA and ideally 2000 DA are good levels to begin Ultimate
concerning the hp, as poison build are a bit squishy and the main goal is not to be touch by the monsters, 9k is sufficient (If you can have more, it’s even better imo)
For comparison, I have 3000 OA/1750 DA/ 9,5k Hp at level 85 with my DEE Witch Hunter (I have pretty good MIs though)
