I have e noticed sometimes resources are dropped but the labourers or other citizens do not ever re pick it up. I have had two stacks of 29 gold or a few places where fish have been lying for years in game now.
I have all resources and food left lying around. It is never picked up. If the food was picked up they would never be hungry.

Precisely. So either I feel it’s likely a bug. ( It still occurs even when I have 30+ labourers) or perhaps they can give us a manual pick up option in the citizens UI where we can click them designate the item by clicking it k. The ground. 🤷
