i have some issues with my playstyle of the Blademaster.
Its hard to play an light Warrior, i mean a dual Dagger very fast atk speed melee build.(Swords are too bulky for me^^)
Then I got a closer look at the monsters and found the haunted scarecrows in the Withering Fields, i like the idea of these Claw Weapons and thought something like that you want too, a very fast physical Weapon.
So, that would be my idea, I would be pleased to see such a new weapon class in the game.

They don’t want to add more weapon variations or animations. I am not sure if your idea would require new animations, because I don’t remember how these claws look. Also potato.
In TQ I managed to work with another modder to create claw and “fist” weapons (gauntlets, tekkos, knuckles) and we didn’t need a new animation set. The 1h/dw animation sets are less than ideal but they will work fine. It would be GREAT if Crate could create a new weapon class which uses an unarmed animation. I’d be a happy guy with that. Hah.
I think it is a cool idea the style of claws and to introduce physical damage daggers into the game.
If it’s not possible and you need a claw fix you can try Sacred 1 if you don’t mind the old graphics. Dark Elf in particular is kind of cool with a claws build.
