Hey guys,
I’m looking to work on a new build here. Something a little bit tanky but with good damage as well. Wanted to base it on Forcewave because of “Shard of the eternal Flame”.

Hi Nomadrun77, welcome to the forums 
There are noticeable problems with this build, though a fire forcewave character is definitely viable (though I question the choice of tactician over commando for pure fire). First off, Tremor requires a 2h melee weapon, you are using 1h and shield, so you’ll need to decide whether you want to do Tremor or cooldown Forcewave and change your weapon/skills accordingly.
OA is atrocious, you need at least 500 more.
Skills are kind of haphazard with some over and some under where I would put them, but that will all change when you change your gear anyway, so I’m not going to get into the details on skill allocation. Gearing with Ortus is not really optimal for forcewave. If you want to do 1h, check out the pummeler (remember that IT and Phys become Burn and Fire with 100% conversion) or for 2h check out shar zuul’s worldeater or Arcanor: blade of the luminari.
Devotions are also kind of out of whack. It looks like you went for Light of Empyrion first and made everything else fit to the needed devotions? You want viper for the OA and resist reduction. Also, you have the pre-reqs for obelisk, so you should try to at least get the first 2 stars for the DA and armor.
I feel like that’s kind of a sketchy outline of what I wanted to say, but hopefully it will give you some ideas. Also check out the build compendium, there are several good forcewave characters already in there.
