New Celestials and Nemeses

There are currently 4 Celestial Beings in game :

  • Lokarr
  • Clone of John Bourbon
  • Ravager of Flesh/Minds/Souls
  • Avatar of Mogdrogen

The battles are epic, but why so few ? MORE PLEASE ! The fights are best.
Maybe one that drops a 1h/2h weapon, or jewel, chest amor, etc, MI or leg.

There are 10 Nemesis bosses :

  • Kubacabra (beast)
  • Benn’Jahr, the Colossal (chthonics)
  • Grava’Thul, the Voiddrinker (chthonics)
  • Valdaran, the Storm Scourge (aether)
  • Archamge ALeksander (aether/human)
  • Fabius “the Unseen” Gonzar (human)
  • Moosilauke, the Chillwind (undead)
  • The Iron Maiden (human) - not farmable by all
  • Zantarin, the Immortal (undead) - not farmable by all
  • Reaper of the Lost (undead/beast) - not farmable by all

Where are Nemesis bosses for the Arachind, Bloodsworn, Insectoids, Plants and Riftspawn enemy types ? Would be wonderful to have 1 for all, some of the above even have 2 for their type.

You do have one for all: Kubacabra.

Arachnids, Insectoids, Plants (?), and Riftspawn are all considered Beasts.

Bloodsworn are part of the Chthonic faction and thusly have the Benn’Jahr/Grava’Thul Nemeses.

Oh, didn’t know that, thought they are individual enemy factions, but even so…more celestial fights would be very nice.

And is Ravager immune to life steal ?

I have been only able to take down Mogdrogen once, and that was on non-Veteran Normal with a level 87 Conjurer. And it took ages, he has 85% resistance to everything. Adding more such encounters is not something I consider fun… Nemesis battles are fun, you have a chance actually. Here, I was spamming that Rover potion that boosts pet damage just to keep up with his regeneration. It’d be enjoyable if you could do solid damage to them, keep their own powers and regeneration as it is, but please get rid of this damage resistance, it makes the whole thing feel like I am playing an MMO where I’d need 40 other players just to slowly wear down the boss.

Even before i could solo face tank mogdo on ulti, i consider it one of the most epic battles in game, along side ravager, cause you would always need a tank in party, never without. Battles like these, are not NEEDED to be done, and you never encounter them unless you want to. Mogdo has text to taunt, ravager also, Clone warns u along the way, as does Lokkar before u find his hideout.

Nemeses are the ones who you encounter even if u dont want to, cause they have too many spawn places, and if ur not ready, u might get in trouble.

Even so more of them, both of them, celestials and nemese, would not be something bad imo, just more challenges, more fun.

Sure we want more nemesis bosses for all factions (at least two per faction as it does for chthonian’s), but I understand this is a lot of work/balancing stuff.

I’m down for more contents, especially super bosses. At the moment, we only have 2 super bosses, and Mogdrogen can’t be repeated like Ravager.

If I may give some ideas, it would be a caster super boss, like a super buffed Aleksander, or something that can cast meteors, or like Kel’Thuzad from WoW.

Celestial bosses do take a good chunk of time to create and they were made to cater to the high-end playerbase, which means only a small % of players actually get to fight/beat them.

For those reasons, only way you’d probably see another Celestial boss is if we release another expansion.

As was explained regarding Nemesis bosses, each hostile faction has one, with the exception of the Chthonians as they had a strong presence in AoM but no new sub-faction.

I can understand Kymon, Cronley and Order not getting a second nemesis. Even the Undead despite having a dominating presence are still nowhere near Chthonians and Aetherials

But beasts are a dominating presence on Cairn and in certain areas their numbers are equal to or greater than Aetherials/chthonians .
Shouldn’t they be getting an additional nemesis as well then? A nemesis who only spawns in non-expac areas

Beast faction was a feature of AoM, extra faction spawns also only occur in AoM areas.

If we added a Beast nemesis to old areas, then players would be chasing through old areas looking for it instead of experiencing the new content. For the same reason, Grava’Thul only spawns in the AoM void zones.

But Benn’Jhar and Grava’Thul spawning next to each other sounds hilarious. Get trapped by Benn while Grava’s nullification projectiles are following you.

Hilarity ensues.

2-3 new nemeses could take the place of half of Aleksander spawning places, considering how many Grava has…

I understand it takes a lot of work, and I would really like and for sure enjoy another expansion for GD.

2-3 nemesis cannot take Aleksandr’s place because he only spawns in Aetherial related locations and adding any new nemeses to his spawn points would mean adding more aetherial nemesis which doesn’t make much sense
