New crucible needs new checkpoints

I have read new development update and I am really happy for planned crucible expand, new waves will be cool, no doubt about it (imagine let us say wave 178 where Ravager spawns together with Anasteria and beast nemesis) :stuck_out_tongue:
It rises one concern I my mind: As a singleplayer guy who farms items (not making BiS with some tools) I play crucible with “I try to beat wave 125 this time” in mind. So waves takes sometimes more than 3 minutes to finish. I am talking about Gladiator without best items, mainly with some more defensive build with less damage. Let us do some math:
even if average time of wave clear would be one minute and Crate adds 30 new waves it would take 150+30 = 3 hours without break to finish it.

I would recommend to add some permanent checkpoint for every difficulty at wave 100.
Accidental dying is covered fine with temporary waypoints (I hope for a new temporary waypoint at 150 which would cost tributes) however, I remember my last attempt with defensive warder, dying somewhere at 130+ I could not continue because those waves took me 2+ minutes and restart from 100 would take an hour to finish, so I did not even try…

I am sure this is not case if 4 man party with dmg build and best items do it, but for single player it could be too much time consuming.

One more suggestion: can we somewhat make farming nemesis status with Cronley gang and Kymon/Death Vigil a bit faster? I really enjoyed how I get that status with new factions. No problem to get nemesis with every faction but these two. Problem is there is no reason to go to locations where Death Vigil/Kymon/Cronley is, and even if you do, it gives so little progress. So increasing progress or making some rogue dungeon there would help a lot.

THX for amazing datadisk, I have a lot of fun and my wallet is ready for more

Edit: now I see I should use word checkpoint instead of waypoint

Crucible already has checkpoints at wave 50 and 100.

Ach, did I somehow miss they are already permanent? I have to check it and apologize in that case…

Edit: Oh my god, I have always selected “I am ready to begin” because I never wanted to rise any stakes so I have not discovered checkpoints are permanent. Probably I have expected this option right from first speaking menu as it does when you die and want to continue.
My bad, and good job from you to implement suggestion before even suggested

Will a new checkpoint appear at 150 in 1.0.4.0?
