HOW ABOUT a berzerker type who dual-wields 2H melee with a nerf ie (idc what much) slow attack speed to prevent it from being too OP.

ALSO a 2-rifle/shotgun/crossbow wielding variety for us ranged fans!!! :smiley: :stuck_out_tongue: :wink: :smiley:

I have a better idea. HOW ABOUT a cephalopod type who septuple-wields 1H melee without a nerf and with wicked rhymes to make it totally OP:

Of course this would require a new UI that has seven weapon slots, but this shouldn’t be hard. I heard building UIs in Grim Dawn was quick, simple, easy and loads of fun.

We should encourage these type of slam-dunk ideas in the future, the devs will love it! :wink:

It kind of defeats the point of having a two-handed weapon if you’re using it in one hand with reduced effectiveness, doesn’t it?

That said, I could see a hand crossbow or two making sense in this game.

I’m not sure what is it called, maybe “Wrist-bow”? A crossbow worn on your wrist that could be dual-wielded, no new animations, could just simply function like a normal 1Handed Ranged Weapon.

One hand crossbows have been suggested before. But as FG is pretty certain to be the last big content made for the game I can’t see any of these suggestions happening. We already know what the final mastery will be, Crate have said they’re unlikely to push any sort of stnad alone mastery DLCs so only possibility would be for some other ARPG they make or GD2 if they decide to do it in the future.

The only good idea is a shapeshifter class which has been confirmed as an engine limitation. etc. etc.
