We at Crate would like to see this forum develop as more of a community site than a developer-hosted forum. In order to help facilitate this we’ve chosen to hand over some of the responsibility for moderation of the forum to community members.
To this end, please welcome yerkyerk as a new Grim Dawn moderator. We tapped yerk for this position due to his constant activity in the TQ forums and long-time role as a moderator of that community. Right now the community here is still small and moderation needs aren’t too high but as things take off we will probably ask other members of the community to assist us with the responsibility of moderating these forums.
So, in the words of Abraham Lincoln: “Be excellent to each other and party on dudes!”
You couldn’t have picked a better person. Congrats Yerk (although I’m starting to suspect you’ll never have time to leave your computer…) and here’s to making this forum as great a place as the TQ forums have been…
note:
Please do the same thing other successful game developers do (ie. Bethesda); for every new game you make in the future [and I sure hope you will make more] keep the forums, just add-on to the old ones. Its better if you saw Bethesda’s forums in case you haven’t yet.
I would have liked to have done this earlier when he first accepted but it things have been really hectic as we’re dealing with the whole PayPal issue and trying to get a new system in place.
Anyway, we are very lucky to also have Father Squid joining the ranks of Grim Dawn moderators!
