New to the game, have not purchased any expansion yet. Looking for base game pet builds to get through the base game before investing on the DLCs
If you are planning to buy the DLCs anyways, I would recommend getting AoM & FG before venturing into the game. At the very least AoM. You won’t find many up to date, detailed builds for the base game.
But anyways, choose Occultist and Shaman. Invest in Familiar, Hellhound, Briarthorn. Use Curse of Frailty + Vulnerability and Blood of Dreeg + Aspect of the guardian. Also you want points in Bonds of Bysmiel + Manipulation and Primal Bond. Mogdrogen’s Pact line if you have points left.
Also get Assassin’s Blade, Rhowan’s Crown and Ishtak. Tree of Life if you want the heal + regen.
Should be good to go.

We actually have no pet Conjurer build in our base game compendium, but heed Maya’s advice - only Ishtak was added in Ashes of Malmouth.
Or go to Build Compendium V (Base Game), scroll down to post 12 (by Zars), hit CTRL+F+F and search for pets in the browser. The guildes might be poorly formatted as they were posted on our previous forum.

Ah, didn’t know Ishtak is not available in the base game. Well, shouldn’t matter too much I guess. The points can be spent elsewhere
