new to grim dawn - few questions

Hi all,

So I only picked up grim dawn about a week ago, without looking to much into the game (I only heard its similar to diablo series, and that was enough for me).
I haven’t played much, im only lvl 40 (dont know if thats high or really low), and so far im doing fine, bit squishy but ok.
I wanted to ask about few things though:

  • is there an online build planner that I can use to show the build ?
  • I heard there is an online mode, do I need to make new char for it (been playing only offline mode i guess)?
  • do picking first class makes any difference in drops, let say i picked arcanist and then soldier or something like that, does it make any difference which class i pick first?

I probably got more questions but cant figure any from the top of my head right now.

There is no online mode as in an mmorpg. You can host a server (so its peer2peer) and pvp / coop. You need no new char for that.

I don’t think so, can’t tell you for sure though. Otherwise I cannot explain the tons and tons of crap i get :smiley:

Drops are random and not tied to any class choices made. Pray to the RNG gods for best results. :slight_smile:
