Newbie Warlock build

Hello everybody, I’m new to the game and the forum, and the typical “sorry for my bad english”.

I’m some kind of TQ veteran, I’ve been playing GD for 2 weeks or so and I love it.

I’m wondering if this Vitality/Chaos Warlock build (Skills) is viable for ultimate, I don’t have a lot of legendary items, still looking.

I’m lvl 82 at fort Ikon - Elite. So far elite has been very easy, died 2 or 3 times. Veteran not so much, maybe 30, specially at the begining of Ashes of Malmouth (Gloomwald-Ugdenbog area), obviously I’m not playing hardcore and I don’t have a problem dying a few times (I know 30 Aren’t a few times, I’m not proud of it). Also this is my first character.

Well, here is the build, please tell me your opinions.

Welcome to the game and to the forum.

Others will probably have more focussed suggestions than me, but if you want chaos damage then add Consecrated Blade. Other skills you may need are Maiven’s Sphere of Protection and its synergy, Mirror of Ereoctres, Nullification and Blood of Dreeg.

And 30 deaths ain’t bad especially for a first character. My L100 Conjurer has 98 and I’ve been playing the game a lot longer than you have.

And if you still play TQ then there’s a new forum for it - www.titanquestfans.net which was formed after the titanquest.net one got closed without warning.

hello and welcome,
ur build in not bad but u need to rebuild u need to choise what type of dammage do u want and choise the right skill special in the devotion ur using a lot of devotion skill . go to the database and make ur build with final gear and then u can see how to play because all the build start in the end of the game :D.if u want any help or something let me know. peace upon you

Thanks to both of you

Consecrated blade isn’t for melee? I’m going entirely caster, trying maiven sphere and looks nice I would like to max it, 3 points for now, its sinergy seems unuseful to me, of course I may be wrong. Trying blood of dreeg (aspect of the guardian in fact) and seems pretty nice too, despite being a bit tedious to use.

1 point to nullification (I read that is a 1 point skill), haven’t tried yet, always forget to use it. Mirror of ereoctres, well it makes you invulnerable but… idk, maybe later.

A lot of skills, now I have to get used to using potions in E and R haha  Anyways, thanks a lot for the feedback.

Thanks, I’m going Chaos/Vitality, but it has to be only 1? most equipment and skills that I have seen bost both of them. About devotion, I try to choose those to bost them too and some +% of health and resistances. The devotions skills has proven to be very useful. Again I may be wrong, I’m not and expert.

Here is my updated build: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/lV7MGR5N

If you’re not going to use your weapon at all then the whole Solael’s Witchfire line is no good since it needs weapon attacks to work.

Having two or even 3 different damage types is a good idea so you have something that works on enemies that are resistant to one, for example chaos resistant enemies will take damage from vitalty and vice versa.

You can change the keybindings in the Options Menu - set them to whatever you want. I put my weapons swop on R for example because I played another RPG that used that so I was used to it. W just seems weird to me.

Only have 1 point spent in solael’s witch fire and second rite, they boost the magical attacks a little too, maybe more with better equipment. Besides I like the effect in the hand :stuck_out_tongue:

Seems sensible the 2 or 3 damages types, I will continue like now then.

E and R seems ok to me, simply I’m not accustomed yet, always used numbers and they are all occupied.

One more question: What about the attributes? I’ve seen people who almost only spend points in physique, a bit strange to me.

Thanks for the advice and the quick reply

Yes, mostly physique though you may need some spirit to wear higher level caster items.
