I will post a guide this weekend if you insist but it’s really not a build that is good for new players as it requires ton of gear and high degree of micro-management.
Also, keep in mind that farming the “secret” boss of the Hidden Path quest (to get that juicy legendary) is not about gear or having a special setup - it requires you to think, observe and act accordingly to her attack patterns.
I am interested in the guide as well. What kinda skills are you maxing out when leveling up? I want to make one to try it out while waiting for the guide.
So I think I’ll make a Witch Hunter, like my first idea I think it’s more versatile and fun to play (more option than Blade Master) and poison looks nice for an assassin !
I thought I heard poison can stack ? Pretty awesome
What you suggest for stats point ? I think up Phy and Cunning only for best gear and rest on spirit (if I make a mistake I’ll use trainer to change it…).
I would go something like 20-25 points in Spirit and the rest all in Physique. Reason for that is quite simple:
You can manipulate the Cunning variable through the Anatomy of Murder passive from the Nightblade tree. You get the added benefit of +%damage to humans that will obliterate cultists, thugs and around 20-30% of the bosses you encounter.
Poison WH has little to no bleed damage so the added duration bonus you get from Cunning is esentially wasted. The added duration from spirit, however will reflect fully in your poison damage.
At lvl 58 you get a legendary medal called Badge of Mastery that decreases cunning requirements for weapons by 15%.
Physique is enormously important because it gives you HP, Defense and the ability to equip heavy armor that usually has %physical resistance on it and mitigates part of the damage you will take.
From a performance point of view, ideal weapons for a poison WH would be swords and/or daggers with high coversion to acid. Some legendaries (i.e. basilisk claw) has full conversion. Don’t be fooled by the fact that your sheet dps will skyrocket…Unfortunately you will encounter enemies with 100% resistance to acid and poison so your direct damage will be 0 with no debuffs. Most daggers and swords, however, have <500 cunning requirement, so you can equip them with 0 investment in the stat.
I delete my post because I finally make a Blade Master, because i’ll test it just after post (if make a copy of my character files after) and decid to keep BM, so I deleted my post few minute after I post it. Combinaison of Shadow Strike and Blitz offer very very good mobility and make me feel real assassin ! It’s very fun
I’m very sorry
PS : I know I’m very undecided  But this game offer so much possibility it’s very hard to choice, and I f**king love it
Back to topic, if you’re really into RP and don’t care about over-powerness, I would suggest going full Nightblade only.
Might be quite a challenge to manage to beat normal Log…
^ this is a joke of course, don’t take this seriously
Thanks you for make me laugh
Seriously I choose Witch Hunter, but actually I’m only Nightbalde (lvl 18), I want to max Nidala’s Hidden/Justifiable and put 4 every DW skill work with Hidden (diminushing return…). After it, I’ll become a true Witch Hunter
I love how poison work, and it’s to fun to apply with NB skill ^^
