Here’s my year 11 with a bunch of 41 random people that won’t cut any tree or chop any stone. I have those pending buildings in progress for 1h at least and at seems like it’s moving with the speed of a snail.
What’s wrong?? Maybe i’m doing something wrong here… (no, it’s not the 1st time i’m playing this and this never happen before).
Also, i marked for harvest only trees and stones. From time to time they will repair a building after i replace it (otherwise they won’t repair it at all by any means on their own). I tried to deselect all the workers so i convert them to laborers → that doesn’t solve my problem either.
I don’t see a stockyard. Maybe that’s out of sight in this picture. But a stockyard is needed to hold the raw materials, so maybe the inventories are all clogged up…halting production…
Kind of a bit of a stab in the dark, because that’s pretty bizarre. If it was a stockyard issue I would also expect to see more “full inventory” messages.
It was out of sight. The map was fully unplayable. I restarted everything (closed the game completely), now things move normally. You can see same amount of people in just 5 years and stuff is getting constructed eventually. But maybe it is worth looking into this.
I figured later on that there had to be one somewhere, since you can’t unlock a lot of buildings without one, but then I thought it might have been destroyed.
Sounds like just a random glitch then. Glad restarting worked it out, but yeah, that isn’t fun. Hopefully it was a one-off.
