When I run, I get is this, which why is it asking for D2 LoD? The archive was for D2R! I tried pointing it to D2R folder, but it still asks for D2 LoD.
MapAssist initially requires the D2:LoD folder for its libraries and data files.
maserver.exe, which constructs maps, was compiled by its authors to work with D2:LoD data, not D2R.
so… just download the installed D2:LoD folder, for example from the sources of the alternative maphack project: 1.88 GB file on MEGA
and point MapAssist to this folder
hello how remove in the mapassist in game : loading data from NTQV : NTQV response Wrong ?
it’s written in big letters and in neon green lol
no way -)
I just didn’t think about using MapAssist without the NTQV3 stasher -))
hi, i found issue when I install the newest “nTQV3_1.3.220720-hf1” file
<<<<

im trying to download the old version “nTQV3_1.0.200330r1160” it looks normal but when I switch to the diablo II part, it shows russian words and I dont know any of it
hi.
first try to remove “C:\Users\your_profile_name\AppData\Local\nTQV” folder to reset settings
Im getting the same error of the above one.
How to solve this? There’s an tutorial to how to use your MapAssist in D2R correctly? Cause its too difficult @.@

I’m a lamer in discord -)
new link, infinite - NTQV -
above was a problem with NTQV and not with MapAssist
do you want to use MapAssist or NTQV (stasher)?
i want to use mapassist but it was not working at least with d2rmm
i thought ntqv is needed to make mapassist work but i dont have intentions to use it rn. btw i fixed the problem just setting manually the path to both d2r and save/db.
oh yes, some people have already reported that MapAssist doesn’t work with d2rmm…
sorry but i can’t check this issue because i don’t have a legal copy of D2R (d2rmm laucher starts D2R directly)
as soon as Blizzard allows to buy their games in Russia…
(maybe after World War 3…)
actually we dont need to launch the game through the d2rmm launcher. Im launching it from bnet launcher or even with shortcut. Theres another maphack that works with d2rmm and i guess mapassist should work since it look for the .exe to apply the overlay, right?
yes it looks for running d2r.exe
then… can you send me the folder with your d2rmm mods set (or how does it work?)
and What should I put in the shortcut parameters?
(I tried very little to run d2rmm on my own - i don’t like modded games)
shortcut needs “-mod D2RMM -txt”
You can grab the D2RMM mod manager and the folder itself doesnt matter at all (instructions to how to setup included in the download page).
This is the mods im using(im trying almost every mod available to see if they are working) but i think the chosen mods dont do any difference for MA.
Maybe its something with the parameters?
The other project called mapview works with any mod that I tested until now
d2rmm downloaded today, v.1.4.4
installed only one mod: Expanded Inventory (13x8) for D2RMM
an idea!
try uninstalling the stacking runes/gems mod!
unlike D2MapView (or whatever) my MapAssist counts their number
confirmed that after the 1.4.4 update it now working, even with stacking runes/gems loaded, perhaps im not tested with those mods working
MapAssist was updated to D2R.v2.5
very little tested
It is still broken for patch 2.5 - Are there any fixes planned to resolve the changes they made to stats for it?
