I was one of the first to pre-purchase the game years ago, and for me seeing this up on Kickstarter to get the game finished is exciting.
I have no doubts, absolutely none that the goal with be exceeded, and it will be done in barely half the time.
I sent the story on to IGN yesterday, and we got it up on Gamespy yesterday.
Now, we just have to watch the money come in, and it will. I think everyone is looking for an alternative to Diablo 3, many are turned off by the game they have made.
Hopefully, we can see Grim Dawn completed soon!

I’m hoping to see it hit $50k by the end of the day. Over 1,000 pledges by 4:00pm is nice! Has PC Gamer ever mentioned Grim Dawn? If anyone is active in their community it would probably be a good place to drop the link.

$4.8k/hour means that the goal might be hit within 48 hours. That would be awesomesauce.
I think we would all cry if that was the case, and hopefully it is. Now its time to stop pressing F5 and go off to work only to return tonight to hopefully see it close to 60k.

just sent a email to PC gamer UK about GD and the kickstarter project, so hopefully they will do a brief article on it and the KS page to raise more awareness

That new vid with some gameplay was just very promising, you should definitely put it on youtube as well.
Oh my Gosh! Was that actually Medierra in there? You’ve been in the game industry for years and you look so young?..Dang, it’s true that I am getting old, haha! I am reaching that age when it amazes me to see people my age, or even younger, creating awesome stuff!

The American/Canadian version of PC Gamer used to have a huge fan of TQ who at one time was editor of the magazine over here… too bad he’s still not around, I’m sure he’d be all for promoting it…
I just wanted to say that I’m personally blown away by what is happening on the Kickstarter page, and hope that it continues to go as well for the rest of the time as it has today - ~$50K and still on the first day…
Good job Rhis and Medierra - hope this totally gives you all the impetus you need to finish making what is looking to be a damn fine game… and I’ve got to say I liked the promo Kickstarter video just as much as I liked the Occultist trailer, if not more…

You guys deserve the support for the time and effort you’ve put in to the project and these forums over the past couple of years. You’ve always been courteous and honest with the fans and stayed grounded in reality. I need to go watch the new footage again because it looked awesome on my phone and now I need to see it on the big monitor. Glad to see the numbers climbing here early on.

Not even one day into it yet and you have almost 60k in pledges.That is 21% of the total. Imagine if you recieve that much in pledges every day. Needless to say I don’t think you guys are going to have any problem reaching your goal! Congrats!
