Ever since Dammit’s build calc came out, I’ve been spending more time theory crafting than I have playing…* I noticed ADCTH on a piece of gear I was eying, and thought, foolishly… “Well, how much can I get? What’s the maximum?”
It seems the answer, as far as I can tell, is in fact 128% ADCTH with Bloodthirster up and maximum rolls on the ADCTH pieces of gear, counting the 10% on Phantom Blades, or 149% counting Sigil’s ADCTH.
So apparently, over 100% ADCTH is possible, even BEFORE counting Bloodthirster’s 8 second duration. Almost 100% is possible even using a skill without ADCTH on it.
Obviously using these disparate pieces of gear wouldn’t make a ton of sense in a build, but the idea of healing for more damage than I’m actually dealing amuses me, so I thought I’d point it out to the forums. It also draws more attention to Dammit’s terribly distracting build calculator
*(Dammit, Dammit! It’s all your fault! {Though the awful pun is my fault, and I am not at all ashamed})
EDIT: You need to enable minimum/maximum rolls in the settings to see the maximum ADCTH rolls I refer to.
Jeez, I missed a lot. I’ll have to update when I’m next at my computer. And I did consider Shaman, but Pact is kind of ADCTH, but not really… So instead I went with something that would kind of synergize, a bit. Maybe you could clear Vanilla with this, technically.
There are builds where gear actually makes sense and provides a lot of ADCTH. I have to check but I think my vitality Witch-Hunter has around 25% without trying.
25% is one thing. Over 100% is another. Getting the ADCTH from Solael pants, and 2 life takers, is easily done on most any build, and that’s a fair chunk right there.
I think I can squeeze out a bit more AdctH by jiggling the devotions at a loss of 300 HP but gained wendigo = more lifeleech damage http://www.grimtools.com/calc/1NXM582D
I am actually very interested in this. Are there a blade master builds that utilize adcth? I am running the pierce BM build right now. Level 56 on act 3elite and I am getting hit very hard and seem to be running from heros a lot to regen health.
Can’t include Sigil of Consumption in this - Sigil will only ever leech the amount of life listed on the sigil itself. Similarly other sources of ADCtH only ever apply to weapon damage skills - except the amount on pblades which will apply to the flat damage portion of the skill as it is baked into the skill, just like Sigil.
Yep, calculation is highly inaccurate, sigil doesn’t take in consideration weapon dmg or any ADCTH except the one on sigil itself. You cant hit and use PBs in same time and if you use PBs only you get most of ADCTH only trough weapon component dmg and not from whole PBs dmg.
To OP: try using Emp warp shard, crimson spike, bat and ghoul constellation,… you can get even more.
