Because I am lost as to why Mythical Wrath of Ascendant is doing 5500 more dps than my current spark of reality. This toon is a spellbinder, Callidor’s Tempest build mostly doing aether damage. Is it the 40% converted aether damage to chaos damage? The damage proc on crit (my OA is 3300 so this would proc often)? Because to my eyes both have similar aether damage % increase, both have same spell cast speed, both give +1 arcanist/necro skills.

I mean I’m not complaining, I’ll take an extra 5000dps, Im just asking ya know.

If you are a CT aether build, of course Wrath of the Ascendant gives higher dps than Spark of Reality because it doesn’t convert 40% of the aether damage to chaos. Plus the base damage of Wrath is aether and CT has weapon damage.
