Is it more beneficial to work towards revered on my sorcerer character to be able to get the faction gear, or more worthwhile to kill anasteria and just farm her for gear?
Stick to not killing her
It’s not her faction gear but her augments
Plus she’s more important to you lore-wise than any other NPC including Ulgrim
Stay her alive
> questline (guaranteed legendary item for bringing to her Talonis head)
> near the best arguments for weapon/armor
> priceless source of information about etherials
Killing her
> her helmet with extremely rare drop chance (it also can be obtained in crucible)
For me choice is oblivious, there is absolutely zero reasons to be foe with Anasteria.
Not the easiest of foes by the way.
Before Mad Queen i considered her to be the toughest boss
