Thanks again, was pretty simple
Next question i’m trying to make a 2 part skill, similar to warcry and nullification.
Main Skill - war cry that removes debuffs from player and gives a small damage bonus.
Modifier - removes buffs from enemies and lowers their offence in some manner.
warcry uses a Skill_AttackRadius and there doesnt seem to be an option to remove debuffs or buffs.
Nullification uses a Skill_DispelMagic template and I can only find the “dispeldamageovertime” and the lowering of targets elemental damage not the debuffing of targets, nor an option to split the remove debuffs and remove buffs
Is there a template that will do what i’m after?
Not really, but you could maybe accomplish what you’re looking for with autocasting. skill_dispelmagic has been hardcoded to remove both debuffs from allies and buffs from enemies.
It would be much easier to reverse your modifier and main skill, having the main one be much like nullification and the modifier autocasting a similar nullification at the player (cast_@selfonattack_100%.dbr). How to improve the player’s damage, though…that’s tricky. You may need a third modifier that autocasts a buff on the player.
Been playing around with it and I currently have it setup as follows:
Skill_AttackRadius, casting warcry with a yetihowl animation, looks cool
that autocasts(cast_@selfonattack_100%) a modified nullification skill.
skill_modifer, adds an OA debuff to the warcry and casts the same nullifcation (cast@enemyonattack_100%).
I see what you mean about getting the damage bonus on there, i’d rather not add a third modifier, may just give the base skill an aoe/cooldown bonus for investing points.
Also is there a way to add an autocast without it showing as a celestial power, or hiding it from the tooltip at least.
Edit: So it does work but not very well, as it seem to cast the dispel on a random enemy within the warcry radius, so 99% of the time it doesn’t hit the actual mob with the buff, might just shelve the idea for now.
