Pet Conjurer - Moggy the Puppy!

There is a difference between underequippied and (g1) though. Unless you are saying that you could clear glad 170 with just faction/craftable gear.

I haven’t tried with Voidcutter since the talk of nerfs and all, but don’t think I could push past 160 in a acceptable time frame. That is beyond my skill.

Ok… seems like the sparky puppy has an easier time even on a budget build.

So, presenting to you,

The Budget Puppy: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/wV16XkPZ
All items are craftable/faction/MI drops (without affixes)

Crucible 100-150, x2 using 4 Blessings + 4 Lvl-1 Stormcaller Beacons: https://i.imgur.com/p2wdXKN.jpg
No Consumables used except for HP/Mana Potions. Start with 4 lvl-1 stormcaller beacons, buy blessings after completing wave 110.
Once you complete wave 150, get your reward and restart from checkpoint wave 130 and complete it once more.

No Consumables used except for HP/Mana Potions. Buy blessings after completing wave 110. I can’t seem to actually win wave 150 without relying on banners :frowning:

Nice work mate!

I was thinking about making a detailed guide for how a new player can start playing with a pet build, assuming he/she has no gear or experience with the game. But I was thinking about going with Cabalist, since there are so many easily accessible items that buffs Raise Skeletons and Call of the Grave.
(but first I need to finish my Callidor Tempest guide and then do a write-up on a Lightning caster Vindicator :stuck_out_tongue: )

Ty, ty

With FG around the corner, I figured there might be a new influx of players and wanted to do my part in helping however I can. Looking forward to your Cabalist once you do get around to it

A bit of update on things…

Went up against Avatar of Mogdrogen on all the builds and added the pics to OP.

Also, found out that there is a max image limit per post. So had to turn them into Imgur albums instead. Atleast it looks more cleaner now :undecided:

And, incase anyone is wondering, I also tried Mogdrogen and Ravager with the Budget build. Both ended in getting 1 shotted, but that was to be expected.

So… we have the Sparky Puppy, right? we also have the Frozen Puppy. I was like… hey, Ultos is an amazing devotion… then again, so is Blizzard…

And so…

let me present to you…

No Potions or Consumables used.

…and was he a good’ boy?

Whats your fav so far?

Yes, he was :stuck_out_tongue:

As for my favourite, I would have to go with Sparky.

Ok, time for an update. This time, to the chaos version. The lack of behemoth in it was irking me for some reason. So, kind of changed the devotion setup a bit. Lost a bit of damage in the process, but I prefer having an easier time over a few seconds faster clearing speed.

Crucible times are pretty much the same, but maybe about 10 sec slower or so…

Incase anyone still wants the old one, it is right below:

So… everything should be updated and ready for FG now (updated the OP with new links).

The old ones can still be used as even with the nerfs, Will of Bysmiel is still useful in its own right. But the new ones have Fluffy

So whats your overall strongest/best pet build now?

Since I am updating everything for FG, kind of hard to say which to consider best without actually getting to play them :p.

Will have to wait till FG releases for a conclusive answer. But everything should still do <12 min crucible runs, so that is not a concern. Same goes for the celestials we have atm; Moggy, Ravager and Lokarr would be still easily doable even without 2 birds.

So… in the end I decided to not make any changes to the builds. But no worries though. While a bit less powerful because no 2x Ravens, it still remains strong and viable.

Plus this way, you won’t need FG to make it work :stuck_out_tongue:

The Budget version has been updated

could you swap the amulet with mythical heart of the mountain?

You get a 3 second down time on primal spirit but in return you get a consistent yeti pet which is really good with fast movespeed, attack speed and an aoe.

The reason is mainly the manacost for Primal Spirit.

With HoM amulet, you will most likely run out of mana outside of Crucible with buffs.

But yeah, the amulet can be swapped if desired.

Don’t build around crucible

Aye, hence why I am keeping Will of Bysmiel here.

The alternative is to probably give up Primal Spirit altogether for Yeti + some free skill points.

I wouldn’t agree with that. Primal spirit and yeti together.

I don’t have the same energy issues as you unless im constantly spamming COF for like swarmlings or a ring proc.
