Pets builds and Resist Reduction

Are pets builds follow same path as non-pets? You choose one element that your pets deal, focus on RR to that element in your skills and devotions and that’s it. Any other damage from your pets is worthless. And then you buff pets and your defenses on remaining points.

Is it general idea?

RR is needed no matter which builds u are making of… retal, pet, self-bound… in very rare cases - hybrids.

In your case (pet-focused, not player-scaled pets), you buff pet damage by adding a bunch of “Bonus to All Pets” stuff and try to also put a huge defense on yourself to not die cuz once you die, your pets go with you, so…

Most %dmg to all pets is all dmg so streamlining is not as important. You still do it if you can but off-type dmg matters more than with non-pets.

But pets doing specific damage only (set in theirs skills). If you pet is doing Vitality Damage, you should take Vitality RR, otherwise this Vitaliy Damage is pretty much useless no matter how many %dmg your pets have.

If you have a standard pet salad then you will have some pets doing vitality, some acid, some lightning, some fire, and then you have a topping of flat chaos, elemental and acid damage buffs you might stop recognizing individual ingredients as the taste would average itself across the dish.

Pretty much. Debuff for the damage type or damage types your pets do and good things will happen.
