Some of the mods are compressed into PHP files.
Can someone please give me a simple idiot proof guide as to how to unzip and to install these files for use. So far I’ve been unable to find anything I can make sense of on the internet. I use 7-zip on them and all I get it some sort of document.
Many thanks for any help.
Im not aware of any PHP files involved in mod file. Which files are u referring to? Or am i missing something?
Usually there shouldn’t be any php files in mods…
The blueprint files downloadable for the Cornucopia mod are a php attachment.
It is these and one other that I am unable to use.
No, they are .zip files…
It seems like your browser can’t recognize them.
Try a different browser…
Or a different download site. I use, love and recommend chrome.
You might also try (depending on how badly teh javascript got screwed up for your existing browser) to simply rename the .php into a .zip and open that.
The forums use PHP, and the urls have .php in them. PHP files are server side interpreted, which then delivers HTML content (or xhtml or other MIME types but the whole explanation is crazy long). Your browser probably took the download and just used the website file name.
Thank you Rorschachrev renaming the file has solved the problem. Much appreciate your help.
