no, passthrough is an effect, bullet penetrates
Volley is a shot type, you shoot multiple bullets in “1” shot/in a row. Volley shoots 2 bullets per pistol on dual wield, 3 on 2h(and 1h i think too?). “burst fire mode” on your Beretta/Glock
Stormspread is a shotgun type, you shoot multiple bullets (6-8) yes, but it’s not volley, it’s all at once/“spread out” fragmented dmg in a cone (like actual shotgun)
Then ofc Burst round is explosive type, shot creates an explosion on target(s) it hits.
Where as Zolhan/Markovian is just regular bullets/normal individual projectiles
Explosive doesn’t count as fast charge because even tho the explosion hits many, it doesn’t count as a weapon strike, think of it more of an aftershock hit.
But since volley shoots 2(to3) different bullets, each of those is counted as their own strike.
Passthrough effect added on to a bullet, allows it/the actual projectile to potentially strike more than 1 target, this then counts as a strike.
I’m not quite sure what the mechanical or “hidden” difference is for shotgun type/why Stormspread individual projectiles don’t count as separate bullets, but can just mentally think of it as 1 bullet fragmented all counting as that same 1 then.(unsure if that’s the actual technical reason but “fits” enough i guess)
