Play test builds outside of normal game

Would be nice to be able to test all saved grimcalc builds in the game outside of its normal content for pure testing purposes only. No banks. No quests. Just build and test live characters before playing in the actual game (I know it’s called something else but my mind is blank currently lol).

So a recap.

  1. A max level character to play test any/all builds in a test only environment in game which is separate from the main one. No loot drops.(but the ability to test various gear and sets with the builds etc).

  2. Ability to use grimcalc builds saved from the site to the actual game for pre build.(example I build a class on grimcalc … Save it and export it to the game. As you levrl up the points auto fill in where you had them in grim calc .

I hope I made some sense. Grimcalc is nice just wish for a way to really test stuff

a very niche request… you can always use tools to create a blank level 85 char, unlock the difficulties and riftgates, give yourself the items and points for level 85 and assign skill, stat and devotion points to match the grimcalc build you are trying.
Should only take a minute or two…

Where are these tools ? This would be nice of course to try something out not just as you stated lol.

Try out the Utilities and Resources section

GD Trained Hard and GD Defiler both will let you alter characters however you want

I’ve tried the trained hard one it seems buggy… and doesn’t work with a normal game? I will try the defiler one and go from there.

Somewhere on the forums there is a post where you can download a pack of 10 blank 85 characters or something like that

But yeah with blank chars and/or trainers etc and GD Sidekick for any gear you don’t have you can put together any build you desire in ~5min
