Player Skill/Effect Transparency Slider

Apologies if this was already suggested, but a quick search turned up nothing for it. I’ve recently begun playing on hardcore a few weeks back (Just hit 100 on a Purifier finally about half an hour ago), and one thing that I’ve quickly realized is, many times when I die or come close to it, I simply cannot tell what’s damaging me, to eventually discover its a pool or some other floor effect nuking my health.

One thing I would absolutely LOVE to see in 1.2, or the FoA release is the ability to scale the transparency of all player/pet made effects. I think the ability to toggle aura visuals in 1.2 is a step in the right direction, but even with all settings on low (somewhat necessary as I primarily play on my Steam deck instead of my beefier desktop), once a devotion or item or two starts firing off there’s just way too much visual clutter of volcanoes and explosions to also see in the middle of that a pool of bad that you shouldn’t be standing in.

I’m thinking a sliding scale of full visuals to full transparency would be the best approach if doable.

Likewise, having a separate slider for party/Non-Enemy NPC effects would help those playing online, or in those moments where friendlies also exist.

I think this may also help address some feedback regarding the new Sunder mechanic, as a big issue many players have expressed in some of the PTS threads was the lack of visibility on the attacks that can cause Sunder. Being able to make the player effects much less overbearing immediately helps to address that by allowing the player to make the call of how much they want to see.
