Kasparov rewards you with a random relic recipe when you complete Hargrave’s Lab quest.
Never have I ever gotten a recipe from Kasparov which I didn’t already know.
Please give him logic to reward with unknown recipes only. Treasure troves seem like they already have this logic; if that’s correct it should be easy enough to reuse that code.
Should be posted in ideas and feedback, probably a better chance the right people see it there
That being said I agree. After getting all the items on softcore I’m journeying through hardcore now and this jackass never gives me anything useful. I think the forgotten passage quest in the arkovian undercity is guilty of the same thing? Not 100% on that part. Guess they both draw from a limited pool of recipes
While I do agree with that I reckon people who want to cheat formulas/legendaries probably download gdsidekick or the trainer. I’d imagine most of them do that instead of spam loading saves that sounds tilting and slowww
What a lame argument, Ceno Those who want to do that (save-scum) will do that anyway but those who play full legit should get a relevant reward for that quest.
Just pointing it out, as the final quest rewards were modified so as to counter save-scumming, so it is a consideration for Crate when they implement such changes.
I think all quests, which reward you with a relic blueprint, work this way (can only think of the one in the Arkovian Undercity), and you might get a blueprint you already know. I am under the impression, that you only get blueprints for basic Empowered Relics.
If Crate applied the no-duplicates logic to quest rewards, you would eventually do not receive blueprints anymore. When I played with a friend the other day, who is new to the game, I handed my reward over to him. That would not be possible, if there where no duplicates.
