Title says it all. I have over 2k hours in GD and I need a way bigger SHARED stash space. Im not a developer but I cant imagine that this is a resource/time consuming change. It would be such a big QOL

Resources/time isn’t the issue. Crate said many times that limited stash space is a deliberate game design decision.
However, they increased stash space with AoM and FG so you probably will get even more once FoA is out.
In the meantime, mods and tools that expand stash size exist. There is no shame in using those, in fact Crate encourages the player to change their game however they see fit.

As Volek said, use one of the stash mods. You can have unlimited then
