Please make farmers prioritize harvest over everything else

Four fields of various crops rotted away completely, even though I’m employing the maximum number of farming. I think this is because I placed several new crop fields and I saw them filled with farmers doing the tilling, but I really don’t think tilling should receive priority over harvesting, which should be the single most important task, as without harvesting every other task a farmer does, be it tilling or planting, is utterly meaningless.

I’m fine with crops rotting if there is a good reason why farmers can’t harvest them, like a raider attack (although I would love if there was functionality to evacuate only the villagers in their path when clicking the bell, not the farmers on the other end of town). But in this case I had the max number of farmers working the entire year, rotting shouldn’t happen if that is the case.

I had a T3 town with over a dozen completed farm fields fully staffed, rotating crops, fertilized, sanded and close to storage, with no new fields in production, and still lost all the fields at once to rot, including crops that were already harvested.
Playing the Idyllic Valley, so no extra outside influence affected the farmer’s ability to work.
This is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Villagers need to schedule better. Stocking up their homes or going for food creates so much lost productive. I’ve had farmers die from lack of food, but if they had just finished that seasons crop, instead of walking half way around the city, they would have had the food to survive.
