It has been a while since I have played TQ. It was the first ARPG (actually, it was the first computer game) that I played. My friend purchased it, and he let me play it. Skipping to the end of that story, I also purchased it. About a year later I discovered the TQ Vault!
I have been out of the loop for a long time. Last week I searched wiki for TQ to see if Iron Lore had more titles, and through the links landed on Grim Dawn. “SWEET,” I said to myself, as my heart beat a little faster. After some more research I learned that it was on Kickstarter and exceeded its goals to continue being made. I then said, “F*** YEAH!”
I purchased Diablo III and I like it, but to a point. Having started with TQ, I am biased that all ARPGs need to incorporate a dual-class system. And with Grim Dawn, we can re-allocate the skill points! That’s more delicious than a peanut-butter, banana-slice, diced-onion sandwich! (If you do not know of this combo, and like said ingredients, I implore you to try it.)
:furious: This was me when I made a fat-finger mistake spending skill point(s) in the wrong spot in TQ. The freedom to reset and experiment is better than getting a quarter from grandma.
Happy to be here, and it’s a good thing that I am patient.
