As you can see my pets have a big ol’ goose egg for poison resist and my skeleton/familiar tend to get knocked out quickly in heavy poison areas (like the “scorpions” in Korvan Sands).
I’ve searched Grimtools for pet bonuses related to poison resist and they seem VERY few and far between, with even less remotely usable in this current build.
I found Wildpact Emerald, which seems to be the most promising. Alas, I’ll need to pray to the RNG gods as I have zero.
In any case, any of you awesome pet people have work-arounds for this?
Can’t check your link currently but it sounds like you’re playing a Cabalist. You and your pets should be fine for Poison resistance with Aspect of the Guardian maxed.
Mythical Runebrand Legwraps And as you’ve discovered, the ring/amulet augment from coven of ugdenbog. Other than that, I don’t think there are too many items that offer it. I don’t think that the 75lvl ring can even drop for you if you’re 100lvl in ultimate.
Put more points into Aspect of the Guardian and keep the buff up at all times. It gives enough poison resistance that you don’t(/shouldn’t) need it from any other source for your pets(100% at 12/12).
