Do poison and bleeding damage work on the undead? In Titan Quest they did nothing to the undead. I avoid using these two for the mentioned reason, but I think they do inflict some damage…
“If it bleeds, you can kill it”
Undead are already dead (duh!) so there’s nothing to bleed there.
Said that, undeads except gargantuans are immune to bleed.
Poison works fine, my Witch Hunter has no problem at all with it, but sometimes some wild diceased heroes appears…
They work if you use debuffs sure. Undead are not really highly resistant to poison here.
Obsidian ravagers, defilers etc are very resistant to it but still you can bleed them with debuffs
Thanks. Although I really like Titan Quest logic - they can’t bleed and they can’t be poisoned, 'cause they are already dead, and whatever sorcery is keeping them alive it’s not affected by these two.
The dead do bleed, see the Bleeding Heart build in the Compendium…
In GD the poison used is more like a corrosive type. Think of it as something like hydrochloric acid, which is considered a poison by some. This acid can burn through flesh, bone and some metals iirc.
Sooo it’s very possible for poison to kill undead in that case.
I loved it too but bleed mechanics were under developed. Tried real hard with MI’s and a Bonecharmer. It’s hard
Yes undead will die to bleedingand poison skulls just not as fast as humans and beast. I’ve completed game with both damage types.

True that. I totally forgot about that “…and acid damage” part. Sure acid would deteriorate the flesh, but had to make sure if Grim Dawn agrees with that.
