Poison + Nightblade Build Needed

I’m wondering how well using a shield would work for a poison nightblade.

You lose some potential burst damage in SS and probably some poison % damage (but if you already have 1500%+ poison damage already is that a big deal?) while being just a bit more tanky (legendary shields seem to hover around the 30-35% chance to block 900-1k damage, which averages out to about 300 daage off the top of each hit).

I mean if you’re dropping in, dot’ing everything up and then evading anyway… ?

You don’t need a shield to walk casually towards the camera putting on your sunglasses as the fire rages behind you. If you’re building your poisonstriker right, very little will ever get a chance to attack you.
