It is absolutely more difficult. The other two have stationary floor traps which eventually disarm themselves, but this place has moving traps (aether tornados) and permanent ground damage. Also, reflect mobs and mobs that reduce resistances. Also, three bosses instead of one, and they have periods of invulnerability and healing which make them unbeatable for builds with only moderate single target damage. The only upside is some decent MI’s. Went there twice for the achievements and have no intention of going back.

Sorry, what is MI?
That does not sound so bad for a pet build, I can just send in my pets on the damaging ground, same as in the Conflagration.

Those neat gear pieces that you can get from certain monster types only (e.g Troll Bonecrushers from those giant trolls).

generally SoT is the easiest rogue like dungeon of the game, and as Snazzblaster said PV is the hardest, i think there’s no discussion there.

that said PV (like all Aetherfire zones in the game) is particularly hard for melee builds, when you had to stand in the green zone to destroy a crystal which is currently reflecting your damage ::mad:
making you like kiting an immobile target is the worst the game has to offer to be honest

Range/Caster with good enough damage and nice AoE is favorable for PV run.
These hunting Decree of Aldrich, unfortunately until now there’s no drop :

I agree that ranged casters are preferred. But DoT builds even those with low damage output are extremely strong vs the stooges.

I got a copy of Decree on this playthrough, but if it makes you feel better. Alkamos’ Scythe and Shar Zul’s Worldeater just elude me.

Yes agree, DoT builds is good to go for PV.

Shar Zul’s Worldeater, I often get the Vanilla version (white color)

Like you said about DoT builds, here’s melee build with AoE and DoT damage did a Decree run

Unfortunately after run with several builds, it’s still no drop again n again

Also, is Van Aldritch explode and does damage when he died?
My toon nearly die after last hit Van Aldritch (minute 1:34)

I think he releases an aether aoe blast when he dies, just like the Dominators.

Who is the designer of these deadly trios?
They have cool mechanic: damage, rr, defense, anti facetank, explode, stunning meteor, etc.
Fortunately they can’t revive each other

I died from DoTs right as I killed the Overlord and was about to pick up his loot. Worst feeling ever.
