Preventing pet auto-teleport to player location

I was searching around forums and did not see anybody discuss this anywhere so I need to ask. I was looking for a way to prevent a pet spawn (aether crystal cluster) from auto-teleporting to the player character location when the character moves too far. I already have set Movement Parameters>disableMovement>TRUE which keeps it stationary, but it still respawns at the character location when they get too far away. I’ve looked at totems from the shaman as an example, but I don’t see a specific command that makes them stay put. Does it have something to do with the template being Pet instead of PetPlayerScaling?
