why it needs boost?
Just +skill I mean. It’s hard to get it hard-capped.
I’ve honestly never tried.
Some skills get bigger gains when hard-capped, but Flashbang’s effects fall off. After the soft-cap you only get -10 enemy defense instead of -20 per point, and the AoE also stops increasing much. After 6 points Searing Light’s gains-per-point also halve. And after the soft cap they halve again.
Soft-capped flashbang and 6-10 points searing light seems a good investment, but even if I get +skill items for it I would just save the points and invest them elsewhere after that.
Is hard-capped Flashbang really worth it?
Elementalist really is not that great in high SR.

this isn’t a question about sr 36+, nor is 36+ even the norm by design ![]()
remember, atleast so far(/until FoA) devs don’t even consider it relevant for balancing patches consideration when we ask for buffs/nerfs, so elementalist being less tanky there probably doesn’t matter as much in general, yet (i’ve no doubt that day will come eventually tho #Buff&Buffs)
I don’t know. I haven’t really compared it. Every point more DA shred is worth more though ![]()
