Primal Strike is soooo slowly in werewolf and wereraven form. Within the same time period, you can cast other skills 3 times but Primal Strike only twice, causing related builds to be completely uncompetitive.
Edit. Oh, this post was removed from the bug feedback section. So it is regarded as the design intent.
What? I think werewolf use hero_werewolf_attack_jump_a01.anm, the shower animation, 28 or 29 frames in total.
I guess you were talking about hero_werewolf_attack_jump_a02.anm. The a02.anm does much faster, only 21 or 22 frames. Or, do you mean that the total frame has no impact? And does frames after the interrupt frame not affect continuous cast?
But I do compare the time of 10 attacks with Thunderous Strike between human and werewolf. Human costs about 5.4 seconds to finish 10 attacks, while werewolf costs about 7.5 seconds. At 106% attack speed. The pause between two attacks is very obvious in werewolf .
But that should be a situation where different skills are used interchangeably. If I only use Primal Strike, with Thunderous Strike makes it no cooldown, it becomes really slow. As I said, wolf cost much longer time to use Primal Strike 10 times. My only action is to hold down the skill button and not release it.
Here are some details (1 sec = 30 frames, 106% attack speed).
Human first jump at 3:14, second jump at 4:00. So 16 frames for the first attack. And 10th jump at 8:10. In total, 146 frames for 9 times human Primal Strike. Average 16.22 frames per attack.
Werewolf first jump at 19:12, second jump at 20:04. So 22 frames for first attack. And 10 th jump at 26:05. In total, 203 frames for 9 times werewolf Primal Strike. Average 22.56 frames per attack.
The next attack doesnt start until the first animation completely ended, if you only use Primal Strike.
@Zantai Here is a comparison video. If you still think there’s no difference after watching the video, then that’s it. This is not a serious issue, and I won’t discuss it anymore.
