Primal Strike Trickster

This is one character concept I’ve never seen posted on the forums, so I thought I’d try theorycrafting it. I was thinking of something like this - http://grimcalc.com/build/MeVKAxC

The idea is to primarily use lightning damage from Primal Strike and the Arcane Bomb devotion, paired with some supporting frostburn damage from Elemental Awakening, Blade Burst, and the Blizzard devotion. Survivability would come from Heart of the Wild, Pneumatic Burst, and Shadow Dance.

I’m sure it’s not a stellar build, but could you see something like this doing adequately in Ultimate?

It’ll work probably, but I can’t fathom why trickster instead of warder or conjurer or druid.

Anyway, melee or ranged?

It’s more of a thought experiment than anything else. I can’t think of another class combo that could take advantage of the frostburn bonus on Stormcaller’s Pact.

And yeah, I should have specified that it’s for melee.

I dunno, Imo this frostburn bonus isn’t worth it. You’ll want Ultos for your Primal Strike, and Ultos doesn’t have any %frostburn.
