Is the earliest damage swap at level 40 with the Rylok medal?

Also, since it’s not Lightning damage anymore, what would be the weapon of choice to put on farm mode leveling to 100?

I think you could swap earlier without conversion and it should still be playable with Vitality based weapon

Korvan Reaping Halberd - Items - Grim Dawn Item Database is nice and the most common choice with that Devouring Swarm duration mod.

You could also add these shoulders Korvan Pauldrons - Items - Grim Dawn Item Database for conversion before Rylok medal

You could go for these after killing Krieg, I think these items are in Temple of Osyr already iirc. You could get these, switch to Vitality damage and go back to Act 2

[edit] nope, just checked and the weapon is quite late so maybe one of these instead early on

I think I’d farm Spined Cove till I get Arbalest :thinking: if wanting to play Vit early. Ranged PS is more comfy

Nice. I think I have a Reaping Halberd in my stash but it’s a level 50 or 55 item. I’d have to log in my Druid again to find out.

I think I have a few Spectral Warmauls saved as well. Unless I used them to make relics. If not, they are early enough in the game to get. I am assuming the same area as the ghostly swords for the cold damage Shadow Strike build.

Having a nice range weapon on swap is handy too, especially when I wanna clear some mobs standing the bad.

Thanks, now to look up the vitality damage Primal Strike build. I know I either saw it on this site or on Grim Tools. Should be easy enough to find. Hopefully it’s not outdated.

There are many Vit Primal Strike builds possible, may be hard to decide. You can even play Trickster now since Nightblade has Vit RR

I just found Archon, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator dated last year. I am sure I can find some more recent builds, but it’s a start.

I’ll check out the Trickster class combo as well.

Conjurer, Ritualist, Archon, Trickster are all good but Trickster might not be published anywhere since it’s so new. Maybe banana_peel has some calc since he mentioned it. Spam or cooldown Primal Strike. Melee or ranged, the latter with pass-through even. All with Rotgheist set though, that’s for sure. You can totally choose secondary class based on your preference
