If I bind a devotion to a skill with a DoT component (e.g. Blitz’s blindside), will the DoT ticks have a chance of proccing said devotion?

That’s what I thought too…wishful thinking on my part 
Semi DoT skills like WoP and Bloody Pox that apply non-DoT damage over x seconds will work however.
Only the first tick of the DoT (which means the attack itself) can trigger procs.
If there is persistent flat damage such as there is on Vire’s Might skill then the proc chance occurs every tic from such an effect.
