I’ve been seeing people refer to skills that proc Devotions more than is stated on the Devotion. Is that a thing? And if it is, how do I find out?
Someone mentioned using Doom Bolt to proc a devotion at 100% chance, for example…Is that specific to Doom Bolt? Is it because of the CD? How can you tell what your proc chance is?
It’s because Doom Bolt has long cooldown. Longer the cooldown on skill -> bigger the default chance of devotion proc. I’m not sure that Doom Bolt would proc all the skills 100%, but most of them — surely.
Also have a theory, not extensively tested. Say I have aetherfire skill and bind it to my sacred strike, which is a strike with two weapons, when you dual-wield. I think first it checks up 51% chance on strike with main weapon, then checks that chance for strike with off-hand. Cause it seems to me that it works more than in 51% Sacred Strikes, closer to 75-80% in fact 
If aetherfire had cooldown, tho, that would’ve been another story, since after first failed check it would went on the cooldown.

Oh, and sorry, forgot to say — when you assign devotion talent to skill it will automatically show you proc chance for that combination.
That’s really handy to know now, XD. I wish I had known earlier. My Eldritch Fire felt like it was never going off…Because it wasn’t. XD
