Project Cornucopia: The Unofficial Rebalancing Mod

Perhaps you could change the reflect effect to something more visible, the ones on the mages is pretty hard to see. Something like Turtle Shell’s effect in another color would make it easily recognizable, just an idea.

I disagree with taking out reflect from the game, it would remove a skill/awareness factor from the game. I don’t think it’s that big a problem either, most of my characters are in the 30-70k tooltip DPS range and I usually manage to deal with reflect without too much trouble.

A mate and I came across a monster that had a reflect item equipped while leveling through elite one play through.

Our options where to kill the mob incredibly slowly or to just skip the enemy, was no real skill involved.

I don’t believe it is redeemable, unless you could somehow exclude DoTs and debuffs from being reflected.

Well I’m not going to try to convince anyone, just going to keep adjusting it until it feels good, or remove it completely if we find it can’t. Hmm I wonder if I can assign a particle effect to a suffix or passive ability. If so I could make all reflect visible.

Well all right, I trust you. You did make Bloody Pox great after all.

Speaking of making things great, when are y’all gonna release 3.2? I’m itching for more Corn goodness

Well spoilers -
Technically everything we’ve done for 3.2 is available via the github repository so… yeah. But if you download that you won’tt have the patch notes.

The only sets of epics left to do a buff run are sceptres and rifles/xbows…which we should be able to do tonight.

After that we will ask volunteers to do closed testing (give them access to patch notes and ask them to look at specific stuff)

So… releasing within a week probably? It’s what I’m shooting for.

Ooh I wanna test it! My mommy says I’m special so I’m probably qualified

Are you guys happy with all the skills or open to suggestions?

Skills like Thermite Mine/Mortar Trap/Storm Totem/Wind Devil.

Open to suggestions until the end of time.

I tried installing from the raw files (I was impatient to see!) and managed to somehow blow up my entire Grim Dawn install - except my saved games thankfully.

The mod creation tools now fill me with Dread.

It has been done.

We received…err…comments about how the above weren’t especially lorewise accurate.

Edit: In other news, v0.3.2 should be soon indeed…

Where’s my cold love?

Cornucopia 0.3.2. has now entered closed testing. Please PM Ceno and I (both of us, not one of us) if you’re interested in helping us make it better before public release.

This is 0.3.2. in a state Ceno and I have barely played asides from making sure most of our changes work. This version just ended up being so vast that there’s no way we can test it by ourselves within a reasonable amount of time.

All we ask of those who want to help us test, is that they can commit to putting in a reasonable amount of time playing the version, that they are willing to test specific things if we ask it of them (we probably won’t and if we do it should be pretty minimal) and that you give us as much feedback as possible based on the patch-notes (we’ll provide a link) and game-play experience. It would be preferred that you start new characters or play your characters under level 75.

We did a lot more in this patch than just make epics better, although that was the focus, and it is my personal favorite so far. Thanks for the interest and support everyone.

Given the amount of hours been pouring into this thing, my concern and care for typos is at an all time low.

Oh and since this is a new page I’ll say it again: Go read the post on page 41 where I explain how we are open to play-testers for the next build.

Not a fan of posting after myself but this is the development thread so I should mention here:

3.2 is out: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43941

And please continue to use this thread to ask us about how development is going or what we have planned for the next edition of Cornucopia. Thanks for all the support everyone.

Hey guys,

Just came back to GD from a little break  Your mod seems awesome…keep up the good work!

I’m finding hard to find the memo of the original changes you made to the skills etc. and can only find notes for the new updates. Help me out, thx

Page 1 of the thread. Click the old links. O.1 has most of them but we keep updating skills as we go.

Was pretty sure it wasn’t there but the link just didn’t put me straight to the top and I just kept scrolling down…my bad
