Build gods,
First, much respect and thanks. I’ve been lurking here since COVID changed our lives but don’t really post. I like making my own builds but I’m a take it too far min/maxer so I’ve been using your builds to compare with mine since I started. You’ve all really helped. Special thanks to @mad_lee for being so active and for having the most content I reference. Also special thanks to @Dmt for providing guidance on my favorite build so far, the TSS Lightning Druid, that thing is so silly and fun.
So here’s my question. I have a blade master and an infiltrator both maxed out. I have a full set of Belgothians and Mythical Deathmarked. I also have a lot of the other pieces needed for each build. I’m likely to only min/max one of these builds and take it through everything because they’re so alike.
Which is more powerful right now, Pierce Blademaster or Cold Infiltrator? Not asking for advice on my specific build, just asking if I was a great min/maxer and could fully optimize either build, which is currently more powerful?
I really like and have been playing the cold infiltrator but he doesn’t really feel very powerful. Certainly not as powerful as the posts from a couple of years ago make the build sound. I recently capped him, got my last piece of death marked, and proceeded to get absolutely smoked by Moosey, which was a surprise. Though I need to work on him a bit, he’s only at 2400 OA/DA.
Looking at the Belgothian pierce BM, it seems like that build is more powerful right now. If I’m only going to have one dual-wield build and these are my options, I’m wondering if I should switch before I put too much time into the infiltrator.
I’m also playing this toon with my 8 year old, who is obsessed with completing all content, so I would prefer to work on whatever build is more powerful so I can be better served to help him on his mission.
