Hi I am new to grim dawn and I was wondering if the pierce to cold conversion on the ring of frost node will also apply to the pierce damage on shadow strike or not?
Furthermore, I was wondering if the pierce to acid conversion on nidallas hidden hand will also work on shadow strike?
And lastly, do I need to be dual wielding to gain the pierce to acid conversion from nidallas hidden hand? because the tooltip on the node itself does not mention it being a “dual wield only” skill.
Pretty sure it only converts 75% of the pierce damage that Ring of Steel deals into cold damage and it doesn’t affect any other skill.
Nidalla Hidden Hand only affects the DW skills that are mentioned in the tooltip. So, technically you need to be dual wielding since those skills only procs off of DW.
Transmuters only apply to that skill, nothing else.
Nidalla’s hidden hand specifies what skills it applies to in the description. Those skills are Belgothian’s shears, Amastara’s quick cut, and whirling death, which are all dual wield skills. It does not apply to shadow strike.
