Questions about the Legendary Smith

So, after so long i found a good build for me and got to the legendary smith, after burning 5 shots i got good thing but nothing better than level 65 (my level at the moment)

my doubts are:

1.Do my level limit the level of the legendaries i can get?

2.If number one is true, whats the best level to start forging?

3.There is any difference between elite smith and the ultimate one? (is this the thing that limit the legendaries?)

  1. Im looking for the warborn set, or the malkovian one, are these obtainable from the smith?

1 & 2. Maybe, i usually craft with 85 characters

  1. Has to do something with better RNG, i more used to doing it on Ultimate

  2. You can get all the items except the helms of both the sets. All legendary helms (set or not) are obtained through blueprints. Best place to farm blueprints is either Crucible, or Nemesis troves

Thanks for your answers dude, but this is my first character in late game and in low in legendaries. I need to forge before i go to ultimate.

nope. you don’t need to if you got a decent build. there are plenty of powerful greens and blues around. i wouldn’t start farming in elite to get those rare crafting materials for forging. rather start ultimate and continue there if you play sc.
