Problem is, cold immunes and bosses shake off the freeze effect of OFF quickly or just ignore it completely. But…
OFF also has a big minus Fire Resist aspect - so I’m wondering if that applies for the full duration of the spell, even if the freeze or cold part doesn’t?
If it does, that could a build like that quite good since you can burn down cold immunes and bosses with fire if you get say -105% fire resist reduction for 5 seconds.
If you cant freeze them rr does not apply. But there is one sorcerer build from Edisonian that uses nightembrace amy to help freezing and thus applying debuff.
Afaik, if the target is immune to freeze, OFF does literally nothing, not even the damage and devotion procs, let alone apply the resistance reduction. You would need a shard of asterkarn or a night’s embrace to make it work, something like this: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48587&highlight=prince
I’m actually surprised, I thought the reduction would apply. They really need to change the skill description to list the effects under a heading “Frozen enemies suffer:” because it’s not clear as it stands.
I’ll hold off on this build idea until I get the amulet then
